it's like this ~~~innovative new thing~~~ by google I'M ACTUALLY NOT COMPLETELY SURE WHAT IT IS but wiki says:
"a personal communication and collaboration tool"
"a web-based service, computing platform, and communications protocol designed to merge e-mail, instant messaging, wikis, and social networking"

except nobody has an invite so the social networking aspect is kind of failing
