lol i don't really have a reason for using this wallpaper, i just needed a wallpaper that went with my desktop and this one looked good. i've had it since i reinstalled my os, so maybe it's about time to change to a new one.

need to keep a daily journal as part of my senior options project, so i'll just be posting it all here.

DAY 01
i'm fine coming up with concepts. scenarios. beginnings. but with a short story, you've really got to have the end in mind from the start, to know where you're going. as it turns out, i'm not so great with endings. sat in front of my computer for most of the day and came up with plenty of beginnings/middles, but no endings.

eventually i did come up with a sizable list of ideas, with some help from rebecca and pat. THESE AREN'T REALLY SUMMARIES more like really vague lines to help me remember what i came up with hahaha

1. last person in the world, starts talking to shadow. eventually some creepy shit goes down. like wilson, only more psychotic.
2. illusion of perfection in post-apocalyptic world. dead smiles.
3. an endless race to nowhere, plus amnesia!!
4. killing people in a dream and they turn into butterflies in your closet.
5. "the mask of sanity" x equilibrium

my planning pages are covered with gas masks i fucking love gas masks. if possible i'd love to do something post-apocalyptic just to draw everyone in gas masks. also thinking of something kind of noirish, i'd like that too. i don't really know ffff i'll just go in tomorrow and try to iron at least one of my ideas out so i can actually get started with pages.
