DAY 07
way way way backlogged on journals, whoops. should've finished the draft sunday but drawing is more fun so i ended up putting that off and coming up with a character design. should've known better because those always take way too long. in the end he kind of looks like one of my already existing characters, though personality-wise they're completely different and don't really have anything in common other than their face. current design also has more facial hair and is a little scruffier, though he wears a surgical mask half the time so it doesn't matter much.

DAY 08
dug up some really nice professional comic paper from the bottomless pit of my desk drawer, which is REALLY NICE but is also making me way too neat and ocd and i think i need to work faster. but yeah, added more to the draft and then decided working on the first few pages would be more fun, except i didn't actually finish any of them. first page is done-ish except for planes (might even be able to leave those out, maybe?), skipped the second page, third page has a few panels of hands.

DAY 09
this is wednesday since i skipped tuesday to work on my calc project. didn't do that much wednesday since i was tired and spent most of my free time napping, but i did work a bit more on pages. talked to heewon and she pointed out that if the sun went out there'd be no light at all and i was like HEY I COULD TOTALLY MAKE THE LAST FEW PAGES ALL BLACK PANELS SO I DON'T HAVE TO DRAW ANYTHING except that probably wouldn't work. we'll see.

DAY 10
FULL WORK DAY kind of. i can't draw kids. i also need to stop being so picky and trying to redraw everything that doesn't come out perfectly aaaaaaaa but yeah drew a few more panels and i really need to work faster sdjkafhlsdjkfh

finally got around to listening to this album i bought over the summer, some really nice acoustic versions of ghibli songs. my personal favorite's probably the one from laputa. tried uploading it but for some reason it isn't working. :( it's really nice, though.

haven't really finished any books recently -- i just start and read halfway through and then get into something else. picked up crichton's state of fear at book-off last sunday, so i'll see if i actually finish it or move on to something else.

watched pulp fiction with rebecca last friday, good stuff.

I HAVE NO IDEA i never really have favorites, either that or my favorites change too much to really be able to count them as favorites;;; stephen king stuff is really good though

011. something that made you laugh today?
EVERYTHING i was so tired today everything made me laugh. in the car earlier i started making random beep beep boop sounds in my head NOT EVEN OUT LOUD just in my head and then i burst out laughing because they were funny-sounding. also traffic signs look kind of funny. also strawberries.

012. favorite non-alcoholic beverage?
milk, idk. i am really into milk. like if i drink too much it makes me sick but if it didn't i would drink like fifty cups every day. i had a dream the other night that i was running around stealing people's milk (IT WAS CHOCOLATE MILK THOUGH) and it was so good and when i woke up i immediately went downstairs and downed like three cups of milk. it wasn't chocolate.

013. what was the last thing you ate?
pasta! my mom made this weird pasta thing, kind of like soup without soup and i don't even know but it was good.

014. what are your current favorite pairings?
no idea, i don't ship much in general and there's nothing in particular i'm really into at the moment. if i had to pick a ship from my current fandom (criminal minds) it'd probably be frank/jane, but that's all the way back in season two so idk.

no idea. been spending most of my time on google reader reading my billions of feeds. after that i'm usually on either lj or fb.

016. what are your plans for tomorrow?
going back to school tomorrow for international day! my dad took the camera for the weekend, but i still have another one to use (albeit a really clunky one) so i should have pictures to post.

017. what kind of music is contained in your hard drive?
A LOT FFFFF on my entire hard drive i have at least 22441 songs, though not all of them are actually in my itunes library yet. genres range from classical to metal to jazz to swedish rock opera to j-pop to basically anything you can think of. there's probably a little more rock than anything else, though, followed by j-pop.

green, orange, and gray.

019. pet peeve?
UHHH no idea hahaha. you know when you sleep too much and then you're tired for the whole day? yeah i slept like fourteen hours last night and now i can't really focus on anything. that sucks. also when you wake up and your neck is sore. yeah i hate that too.

020. guilty pleasure?
i recently discovered a slight addiction to criminal minds badfic, if that counts. mostly reid whump -- the slash irks me for some reason. i never really read fanfiction but i got linked to one the other day and it's just the perfect way to procrastinate from my senior options project aaaaaaa
